Vivek heads Innovant, a social enterprise, which aims at catalysing integrated development of the rural and semi-urban regions supported by Social Entrepreneurship and Venture Philanthropy. He is putting custom-built technology, policy leverage and global networks at the core of the social interventions which can sustain on their own in the long term. Vivek is the chair of IET India’s IoT panel for Social Impact as well as founding member of LEAPIndia.
He has worked in management roles with global Software and Consulting firms for a large part of two decades across Europe and India. Also, he co-founded a social enterprise in Education space to provide digital content to schools and universities during the dotcom days. He has set up and led new businesses and practices, managed large programs and client services. Vivek is trained in Management at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and studied Environment at Kings College, London and International Development at the University of Cambridge.
Vivek has lectured at many management and technology institutions including Jawahar Lal University, Jamia Millia and Amity Business School.
